So um yeah. Not a lot has happened since my last journal.
I had my sixth form induction day, which was cool, but they still messed up my A level options... I want to do photography, but they keep putting me down for art, despite the fact that I've gone to one of teachers and changed it, which is annoying, so I didn't get a taster session in photography. But my music tech taster session was really good, so that's alright.
Also, I had my prom, which was a bit crap. Didn't get any decent photos from that, because the lighting wasn't all that good, and tbh I hate flash with a burning passion. So yeah. Today I visited my granny, and one of my cousins, Emma, came over with her 3 month old daughter, Penny. The last time I saw Penny, it was at my other cousin Kailey's wedding, and Penny was only 10 days old, so she's grown a lot since I last saw her. She's beautiful though, and her eyes are huge and blue. She looks a bit like her mum, a bit like her dad, a bit like her grandad, and at certain angles, like my cousin (Kailey) and me when we were babies (we look quite similar as babies, if you compare pictures, even though she's 7 years older than me.)
So anyway, I got quite a few nice photos of Penny, but only a couple were good enough to put up here. The rest are on my Facebook, so if you have me on Facebook, and are truly desperate (which I doubt), go for it.
So yeah, that's been pretty much it. Steve, my boyfriend, has been summoned to meet my granny, who is the 'matriarch' of my family, more or less, so that's going to be nice.
But other than that, not a lot.Over the summer, I'm supposed to read 'In Cold Blood' but Truman Capote, but I can't get into it. Anyone else read it and want to make me more interested in it?
I think that's all I have to say.
